Shipwrecked Not Drowning

In life, as a writer or entrepreneur, public or corporate sector employee, wether it is; a teacher, journalist or media person, manager or entrepreneur, marketing/sales or service industries, police or firemen, humanitarian or religious, in every field, we feel like we sink, we hit rock bottom on ocassion, but the fact of the matter is: "The biggest of human freedoms is to choose how we feel in any given moment".- Viktor Frankl.

Our ship may sink, but we don't have to drown. Easier said than done!! Some people have lost everything. To give you an overview: I graduated in 2016, in the middle of the 'Crisis Fiscal', I did drown, i did hit an abyss, a mental health crisis as well as vocational, when I was entitle to incentives but there was no sustainability to talk about, zit, zero, nada. Until Salvation Army and Fowlers invested in me as a teacher, it was a blessing. But I needed a full time position.

Lately I've been facing odds, but I am holding it together, because I am being tested, not sad or angry or unhappy. I have no money, my car died, my book is on hold, my FB account got hacked or, who knows in the Spiderverse? But wait...just breathe, pray or medidate, for me it is kind of the same, I connect to a Higher Cause: Love!

I am to be a teacher of a beautiful community, I got a car from my mother, who decided to help a struggling teacher, her son. Also I am in this journey of catharsis to be an author of a great book, not a book of myself and I, but something greater: An epic story of turmoil, evil, vices, but also; the alliances that hold it all together, hope, love and muse, purpose and friendship, masters or mentors. In this battle against despair, We have a north, a calling, and we have love, wherever there is life, there is hope, beauty to be hold and share, despite our differences we all seek to be loved and accepted. It is not about a legacy it is about loving from the heart and putting or best foot forward, "Lo importante es llegar".
